Town Meeting 7.30pm 9/2/23 St Patricks School

The owners and investors of the proposed casino in Greystones have already run two large casinos in Santry and Tallaght. They are not local business owners but rather professional casino operators and speculators. The company behind the project was established in 2019 specifically for this purpose.

The community would support a proposal for non-gambling gaming machines, pool tables, and a snooker hall, which would be more suitable for the community, particularly for teenagers and locals.

The concern is not about the presence of an arcade, chipper, or pool hall, but rather about a major consortium entering the community to build a 24/7 365 days Casino.

There will be a town meeting on Thursday at 7:30 PM at St Patricks School, where the backers of the project will be welcomed to attend and explain their interest in opening a casino in the town.
